In the last two months, we have come across multiple incidents that our emails were filtered by mistake, probably because of attachments. Since there is nothing we can do to change our customers’ email provider’s filter rules, we would like to take the following steps to deal with wrong filter:

1. Besides our company email address barry@belwindows.com, we also use a gmail account: barry.alumwindows@gmail.com. Since a lot of customers and potential buyers use gmail, communicating with the same email system provider might help.

2. We will use instant messages tools more often, either for daily discussions or just occasional notes for key information. For now, we use WhatsApp and iMessage: 0086-13725220540. And we are open to new ideas as well.

If you are not sure about communications by instant messages, this might help:

A). Discussions stay on WhatsApp or iMessage, decisions/conclusions will be sent to your email after discussions. No need to worry about official records.

B). If you feel bothered by too many messages or messages coming in the middle of the night, we can always switch back to email for daily discussions and only use WhatsApp & iMessage as occasionally.
